Tottenham Hotspur faced their second consecutive defeat, falling 2-3 to arch-rivals Arsenal in their Premier League fixture last weekend.

The loss in the North London derby widened the gap for Spurs, leaving them trailing seven points behind 4th-placed Aston Villa.

This setback significantly hampers their hopes of securing a Champions League spot for the next season.

With their aspirations for a top-four finish under threat, Tottenham now face a challenging task ahead in their upcoming fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.

Manager Ange Postecoglou remains focused on navigating through another high-stakes encounter, as he continues to integrate the club’s academy talents into first-team training sessions.

One emerging youth player recently involved with Spurs’ first team is 16-year-old Mikey Moore.

The England U17 international has now participated in training sessions under Postecoglou for the third consecutive week, once again spotted this week ahead of the crucial fixture against Chelsea.

The Lilywhites’ official handle on X shared a training clip featuring Moore actively participating.

Moore has showcased exceptional prowess for the Tottenham U18 side, amassing an impressive tally of 16 goals and 9 assists in just 14 appearances across the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup in the current season.

His journey with the North London outfit began at the Under-9 level, gradually rising through the ranks due to his talent and dedication.

Now training with the first team, Moore is seen as a promising prospect for the future, with the potential to emerge as a star player for Spurs in the years to come.

As Tottenham seeks redemption against Chelsea, the integration of young talents like Moore provides hope for a brighter future amidst their current challenges.
